These RS Aeros were on display at the RYA Dinghy Show in London this weekend. I wonder if these sails with the spectacular graphics are being used in the Olympic trials to select the possible replacements for the Laser and Laser Radial in the 2024 Olympics. Didn’t I read somewhere that the trials would be happening in February/March somewhere in southern Europe? Or are they just a teaser from RS Sailing of what the future might have in store for us?
Of course, none of this changes my thinking on whether or not it’s a good thing for the RS Aero to be in the Olympics. Although I would like one of those sails – GBR or USA please.
