Aerobian is a light-hearted blog about sailing from the perspective of an RS Aero sailor. Expect rants and raves, tall tales of bad sailing, tips on how to sail better than the author (not difficult) and other nonsense.

What a find!!
When I was sailing on the east arm of the Grand Traverse Bay (of Lake Michigan), maybe a mile or so from shore, I was surprised to see a monarch butterfly flutter past me maybe 10 feet or so above the surface of the water.
I’ve never seen a moth while sailing, though.
The British Moth is based on an American design from the mid-1930s. Current boats sport an improved rig and more comfortable deck layouts.
