Me in my first Laser – #93933 with an orange hull – at Rutland Sailing Club in the UK sometime in the late 1980s.
I sold that Laser to a fellow RSC member when we moved to America at the end of 1988. I wonder where it is now? Has anybody seen it recently?
And, just so you can laugh at me, here I am at Rutland again in my son’s Optimist. I think it was the occasion of the parents’ race. Well that’s my excuse and I am sticking to it.
Rub a dub dub
Hello Henry. Welcome to the blog.
Did you know that the rhyme “rub a dub dub” was originally about a fairground attraction with naked ladies?

Enough with the Opti! You need to build a Cape Cod Frostie.
I did sail a Cape Cod Frostie… once!
It was so uncomfortable. Even worse than an Optimist. I think I’ll stick with my RS Aero.
